What Is The U3AU3As are learning cooperatives which draw upon the knowledge, experience and skills of their own members to organise and provide interest groups in accordance with the wishes of the membership. The teachers learn and the learners teach. Our U3A was launched in November 2008 and we now have nearly 400 members and over fifty Interest Groups or short courses. Our members come from all over the North West of Leeds and the surrounding area. Our aim is to provide shared intellectual, social and leisure activities for people in the Third Age of life. National U3A Festival 18th - 20t July in YorkThe national festival is taking place this year in York. There will be three days of activities and events which could interest you.
