Following the success of the recent two night stay by members of the Mah Jong Willows group at the Red Lea hotel in Scarborough, it has been decided that they will attempt to run a similar event in 2018.
The hotel have agreed to maintain this year's prices: £189 for single occupancy: £126 for shared occupancy; on a Dinner, Bed and Breakfast basis for two nights.
There were two Mah Jong sessions on the first day, and three were available on the second day.
This holiday is intended for experienced Mah Jong players who have learnt the Chimanimani tradition of play through Cookridge and Horsforth U3A.
At the moment this is not a firm booking, and members who might wish to participate in next year's event should either sign the list at a general meeting or contact Diana on 0777 327 1716.
