At 10 30am on Wednesday15 November. I have arranged for the group to enjoy a tour around the recently built,"Veolia recycling energy recovery facility"  Newmarket Approach, Leeds LS9 0RJ.

Duration of the tour is approximately 2hrs,and is free of charge.

Visitors to the facility are required to wear Personal Protective Equipment which will be supplied.

This includes shoes.

If you wish to join us on the tour, let me know no later than 24th October along with your shoe size.

I have booked tables for lunch at Brigdsewater Arms Cardigan Fields Kirkstall Road LS4 2DG ( next to the Vue cinema).

All visitors will need to wear the boots provided on site, so if you could give me an indication of sizes it would be much appreciated.

Car parking is very limited on site and we encourage car sharing and / or public transport wherever possible. I would advise that if there is a shortage of space for parking on the day, you could utilise the three electronic car parking spaces which are usually available.

Do any members of the group struggle with mobility issues? Please be aware that there are in excess of a 100 stairs and grilled walkways within the operational plant itself, and a reasonable level of fitness is needed to complete the full tour. Please let me know of any issues in advance.

Ideally your group should all arrive at the same time. As this is an operational facility there is a requirement for all visitors to undertake a site induction on arrival.
