Summer Social  2019  - Table Top Games!

Please note that this event will take place on

Wednesday 19th June. 10.30 to 12 in Cookridge Village Hall.

Remember all those easy and fun games you played as a child (or more recently with grandchildren)?  Ron and I are planning a morning of mainly table top games. There will be the old games such Ludo, Snakes and Ladders, Chinese Checkers, Draughts, Old Maid, Othello, Dominoes, Happy Families, Chase the Ace, My Birdie Whistles, Operation, Draughts, Rummikub, Uno and KerPlunk, and Jenga (if we can borrow them) to name but a few! All just for fun! 

(If you can offer other similar games, please let us know).

NO Bridge, Scrabble, Chess, Canasta or Mah Jong. 

We will have a raffle (or Tombola if we get lots of prizes!).  Donations for prizes should be given to Ron and I or Pearl Lewis or Audrey Nossig.  Nothing too expensive - again it's for fun.  

Come along, try some different games, revive some memories and have a cuppa and a chat.

There will not be a charge for this event, but as the space in the hall is limited to 100 people when we sit around tables, you will need to obtain a ticket.  These will be available from Pearl at general meetings, or can be reserved by ringing 2260454, but if you fail to attend you will be asked for the usual £2 meeting fee, unless you let us know at least one week before hand so we can give your place to another member.
