Day Trip to Ripon

Thursday June 1st Trip to Ripon

The  cost of the transport is £14.00 

This year you have  the choice of  how to spend your day by choosing 1 of 3 options

1. A day at the races additional cost of £11.50 for the Paddock enclosure. 

2. A day in Ripon with opportunity to visit the market, a free music concert in the Cathedral at 1pm and a Guided tour of the Cathedral at 3pm with the additional cost of £9.00

3. A day in Ripon for you to choose what you do and where you visit, you could visit the market, museums and the free music concert if you wish,  no additional charge

Choose your option when you book on line. 

Members may bring 1 guest per member

The coach pick ups are as follows-

11am  Fink Hill car park, Horsforth.

11.25am. Asda Car Park, Holt Park.

11.35am Lawnswood Arms (you have permission to leave your car in their car park providing you are dining there on your return)

The coach will drop people off at the racecourse (The 1st race is 2pm) and then go into Ripon.

The coach will leave Ripon at 5p.m and pick up from the Racecourse approx. 5.30pm

On your return, Janet and Ray Hardwick (Social Group Leader) are having dinner at the Lawnswood Arms. If you would like to join them for dinner please indicate when booking on the website or let Ray know so he can make the appropriate booking.
