music group  

A new group (formed in September 2024) for people who would like to play music together. This group is ideal for people who have played instruments in the past but not played for a long time and would like to start playing again or people who have taken up an instrument later in life and would like to play in a group.  So far we have quite a mix of instruments and a wide range of experience.  All instruments welcome (except ukuleles who have their own group!)  We’d love to have more violins, cellos, flutes, clarinets, saxophones, brass instruments, guitars, etc. Music chosen is varied to suit the members.  Come and join us on the 1^st and 3^rd Thursdays of each month in the back room of  Cookridge Village Hall to make a joyful noise and meet new friends to play with.  Contact Pat first as some weeks we do not meet if the hall is in use for school holiday club, pantomime week etc!
