Theatre Group

Are you interested in all aspects of the Theatre and going to see plays? If so, this is the group for you! We aim to have monthly meetings, where an expert in an aspect of performance, will talk to us about their particular field and how it contributes to the staged production. At these meetings we’ll also look at what’s on in the local area. 

West Yorkshire has many professional and amateur theatre venues. We aim to bring ideas to the monthly meetings and agree to visiting some of these, as a group or individually. As a group, we would be able to take advantage of concessionary pricing. And it’s just more fun in a group! 

Perhaps, once or twice a year, we might be able to combine a theatre visit with a meal. 

We know not everyone will be able to attend every production and not every choice will suit all tastes. The best way to make sure it’s something you’d like to see is to come along to a monthly meeting and let us know. We look forward to seeing you!
