Malcolm is giving two talks locally for anyone who has not already heard these talks at our Monday meetings.

Tuesday 17th October 7.00 p.m. - Horsforth Historical Society (at Horsforth Museum) 'Trekking in the Himalayas'. Given at our U3A about 10 years ago.

Wednesday 18th October 10.00 a.m. - part of Forum 2000 AGM, so free of charge! (at the Grove Centre) 'The Road to Big Sur'. This is the talk he gave at a CHu3a meeting earlier this year, when a number of members had to be turned away. There's now a second chance to hear it ... for nothing!

Dementia Friendly Horsforth is hosting this one-man play about a man whose husband is living with dementia.

We don't see the partner on-stage, but he is being spoken to.  It is an amusing and poignant , and addresses issues that

can affect any type of family or relationship.

Tickets are free and available from Horsforth Community Hub (the Library) or from Eventbrite as on the poster.

Due to the very low numbers who have been involved in the iPad Workshops over the past few months, we have decided that there appears to be very little need for these sessions and our intention is to close the group this coming Tuesday (15th August).

Of course, we are both always available at the end of the phone, or via a pre arranged visit to help any members where we can.

We have been more than happy to help members get the most from their iPads, but feel that this group has run it’s course.
The group has been running for over 10 years and the devices are no longer new or novel to many people.

We thank everyone who has ever attended for your company and good humour and hope that you have found the workshops useful.
